Utopia Art Sydney is committed to the representation of a small group of Australian artists. These include leading members of Papunya Tula Artists, Gloria Petyarre and Emily Kame Ngwarreye from Utopia and non-Indigenous artists from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.  Their reputation is one of the leading Indigenous art galleries owes much to the fact that all their artists are represented equally.

Since 1988, they have exhibited Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists in a contemporary context.  This has led to the emergence of Aboriginal artists like Emily Kame Kngwarreye into the mainstream of Australian art. It has also served to expand the references for many of their artists.
