Little Manly Cove has a compact beach on the harbour side (so no surf) below the level of the road and a small reserve between the road and the beach. The fenced swimming enclosure takes up half the beach and its shallow waters are generally awash with babies and toddlers.
There is shade on the sand in the mornings and the rocky ledges on the southern end of the beach are good for exploring. The spectacular views across the harbour towards the eastern suburbs and Mosman are provided gratis and it is also a beautiful place to watch the sunset.
The park has everything one needs for the perfect day out to play, fish, swim or just relax. Catch the famous Manly ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf and walk to Little Manly which takes approximately 20 minutes.
