The Hawkesbury is spoilt for choice with many wonderful bushwalking tracks for you to explore. Often people head to the Blue Mountains to go hiking but they think the bushwalks around Hawkesbury are just as good and much quieter!
The region is cradled by four gigantic national parks - Blue Mountains National Park to the west, Yengo and Dharug National Parks to the north and the mighty Wollemi National Park to the north-west.
Some areas that you may cover on your hike include the Colo River, Wisemans Ferry, Bowen Mountain, Grose Vale and Mount Wilson. Depending on your choice you will enjoy foothills, gorges, valleys and lookouts too.
The Hawkesbury caters for hikers of all levels - from novice to experienced.
