Inspired by the elegance and glamour of the heritage-listed building’s Art Deco style, The Alcoves provides diners with a spacious but intimate restaurant setting that promises to elevate the dining experience for members, hotel guests, and Sydneysiders.
Against a décor that draws inspiration from the 1920s Art Deco movement, The Alcoves incorporates a blend of vibrant and contrasting colours, intricate ornamentation and decorative detailing in the luxurious chandeliers and the use of bold geometric shapes within the wallpapering.
Located on Level 2 of the NSW Masonic Club and Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, The Alcoves features a delicious menu of seasonal ingredients and flavours that have been crafted by our talented chefs and will delight the food senses.
The modern Australian menu features a selection of signature dishes that highlight the finest locally sourced produce, including a seared Ulladulla tuna steak with a white bean hummus and chimichurri sauce, rosemary and garlic lamb chops and our own interpretation of the classic burger. For dessert, the lemon and lime pie with a house-made rosemary sorbet or mango coco panna cotta with cranberry raisins and coconut sauce provide the perfect finish to any meal.
