Highly awarded artist Paula Jenkins currently lives, and works from her studio, in Walcha NSW; an area that abounds in spectacular subjects in nature. Paula’s distinct style depicts the essence of Australia’s landscapes using predominantly oil and gouache, and her works are known for her vivacious use of colour, textures and mark-making to form her landscapes and compositions.

“This exhibition will feature landscapes from Wallis Lake in the Great Lakes District in NSW, where Paula frequently holidays with her family, and Girraween National Park in QLD where Paula has spent time painting and documenting the natural environment during this year and last year. Girraween is an aboriginal word meaning ‘place of flowers’. With an abundance of biodiversity and running streams, the landscape is known for its uniquely shaped and balanced granite boulders.” – Paula Jenkins, 2024
