Bistro Grenier

Bistro Grenier is Newtown’s French bistro. Odd Culture, the hospitality group behind it, want you to think of the restaurant as a marriage of tradition and irreverence. Tradition is the white tablecloths, the French recipes that dominate the menu and the French wine list that celebrates famous regions like the Loire Valley and Burgundy. The irreverence is the spirit, the service and the ingredients behind the French recipes that could include anything from soy to maple syrup. Together it makes for a recognisable setting and flavour profile but rejigged for a new, young, after-dark Newtownian audience.
