Free Stand-Up Comedy Class

Learn joke writing and public speaking tricks with the Sydney Comedy School!

This class, which is Sydney's longest-running comedy class, goes into a different element of stand-up comedy each week.

Come along to The Bank Hotel in Newtown for laughs and drinks. During this 45-minute class, they will go through an element of stand-up comedy.

During each class, you'll be writing jokes and sharing them with classmates.

There are a wide range of different topics - no two classes are the same!

Joke techniques include:

Misdirection
Rule of 3
and much more
