Daniel John Martin figures as one of the most prominent violinists of the French and international Jazz scene. Born in Congleton, not far from Liverpool, his youth was marked by a long sojourn in Africa.

He was one of Didier Lockwood’s first students who stated that he stands amongst the top notch players of his generation.

A long time later, he turned towards jazz-rock and fusion, and he has since been recognised as a leading figure in the « Parisian gypsy jazz” revival.

He is in the process of finalising a recording of his youth compositions alongside guitar hero Robben Ford, pianist Olivier Hutman, Henri Dorina on bass and Francis Arnaud on drums. They are accompanied by a string quartet led by Line Kruse.

Be it in one of his ensembles playing his compositions or alongside other great soloists, sharing his passion for jazz standards; you will enjoy a great moment of music!

“A unique and charismatic performer and one of the most sought-after violinists of his generation!” - Le Quecumbar

With: Cameron Jones (guitar), Richard Ashby (guitar), David Seidel (bass)
