Partners of Tourism NSW

Tourism NSW successfully works with a range of government and industry bodies to develop and promote tourism throughout the state. These include:

  • Government agencies and trusts, including the Major Events Board, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, City of Sydney, the Sydney Olympic Park Authority and the 15 Regional Tourism Organisations across NSW.
  • The Commonwealth tourism authority, Tourism Australia
  • Industry bodies, such as the 20 plus members of our Tourism Industry Forum which includes the Tourism & Transport Forum, Sydney Chamber of Commerce, AHA and the Restaurant & Catering Industry Association.
  • Traditional (tourism industry) and non-traditional partners

Actively engaging tourism industry partners and other partners to work together in the State’s marketing programs, yields greater results than if these initiatives were implemented independently.

Tourism NSW is also focussing on developing partnerships with businesses outside the traditional tourism sector, which have the potential to benefit substantially from increased visitation to this State.
