Situated in the heart of Surry Hills, Porteño’s new location is already the best spot for your after-work dinner, weekend soiree, or special event. Surrounded by its sister restaurants Bastardo, Wyno x Bodega and Italian-style bakery, Humble, the setting for your evening at Porteno is sure to be abuzz with activity, good vibes, and a selection of amazing food & wine.
Porteño’s menu has been thoughtfully curated by chefs Elvis Abrahanowicz and Ben Milgate, co-owners of Porteño. With Argentinian authenticity being at the forefront of Porteño’s menu design, hand-cut specialty meats are prepared in front of guests on a traditional Parilla (barbecue) and Asado (pit of fire). The entire menu has been designed to be shared in the traditional Argentinean way – with plentiful plates of succulent meats and seasonal vegetables hitting your table as they’re ready from the open-plan kitchen.
Porteño’s wine list perfectly complements the flavours of the menu, with an extensive range of Argentinian Malbecs. Hand selected by co-owner of Porteño, Joseph Valore, the wine list offers an exclusive and abundant variety of boutique Argentinean, Italian and Australian wines from world-renowned producers. Porteño’s sommelier and expert bartenders are also more than happy to run you through the famous cocktail list and quenching variety of non-alcoholic options.
